1.Why should I have a compactor
at my business?
The most common reasons why our customers decide to have us install
a compactor is that it reduces the frequency of hauls, decreases
their monthly garbage bill, decreases labor, and eliminates numerous
unsightly trash containers. A good rule of thumb is that if your
monthly garbage bill is over $800, then you need a no cost or obligation
waste audit by one of our staff.
2. Why should I have a baler
installed at my business?
Baled recyclables demand a greater price from recyclers. Baling
recyclables also reduces their storage space by as much as 90%.
A baler can also help reduce your monthly garbage bill by baling
recyclable material instead of throwing it into your trash bins.
3. Why should I choose Northern
California Compactors, Inc. as my equipment provider?
We have over 20 years of experience in the waste and recycling
equipment industry. We carry a valid contractors license #547975.
We have over 4,000 customers who have rated us the tops in customer
service.
4. I can't afford a major equipment
purchase. How can I have a piece of equipment installed with as
little out of pocket expense as possible?
In addition to our purchase plans, we also offer rentals, leases,
and financing (OAC) with no down payment or security deposit. A
compactor saves one of our customers $1,500 a month, but he didn't
want to spend the $18,000 for the equipment up front so he financed
it over 60 months. He pays $381 each month to save $1,500 and will
own the equipment in 5 years.
5. How do I decide what size
baler or compactor I need?
We offer no cost or obligation waste audits. One of our staff will
visit your site to view your waste volume, waste area, container
size, and garbage bill. After the information is compiled, we propose
the best system(s) to meet your application.
6. What are the power requirements
for your units?
All of our equipment will operate on 3 phase power at 208,230,
or 460 volts. Equipment with a 10hp motor or smaller is also available
with single phase power 208 or 230 volts. Some of the smaller units
with a 3/4 hp or 1.5 hp motor can even operate on 110 volt power.
7. What if I need service on
my equipment after installation?
A simple phone call or e-mail to our office will get you in contact
with our service department. We will ask you a few questions to
try and get an idea on what might be wrong. Sometimes the equipment
can even be repaired over the phone. We have a nationwide network
of field technicians factory trained to repair our equipment. They
carry the most common parts on their trucks and the other parts
(motors, cylinders, etc.) are available for shipment within 24 hours.
